Sorry, I haven’t been keeping you guys up with the soccer stories and stuff. So I’m back to tell you about a recent game. Two Premier League giants clashed on February 10, 2019. The Blues ( Chelsea) faces City ( Manchester City) in a Premier League match. Many people had high expectations for this game.
So the match starts and Manchester City start off strong.
Raheem Sterling scores in the fourth minute for City.
Nine minutes later Sergio Aguero scores a goal from outside the penalty box.
Six minutes after that Sergio Aguero scored another goal.
Another six minutes later IIkay Gundogan scores.
Half time and the score is 4 City – 0 Chelsea.
In the 56th minute, Sergio Aguero gets his hat trick.
Then finally Raheem Sterling finished it off with a final goal in the 80th minute.
Full time 6 City- 0 Chelsea.
It was a nightmare for Chelsea and their fans. It was going to be tough for Chelsea to bounce back after that. After that match, it left Chelsea 6th in the table while City only one point behind 1st. But Chelsea had another clash with City 2 weeks after. The winner of this match would be crowned the EFL Cup champions or also known as Carabao Cup champions.
